South Bend, IN — Gracie Jiu-Jitsu South Bend is proud to announce that it has been named Best Fitness Center/Gym of 2026 in the South Bend Community Choice Awards!

This year’s award marks an incredible milestone for The Academy, as it is the third consecutive year that Gracie Jiu-Jitsu South Bend has received this honor. After being named Best Fitness Center/Gym in 2024 and 2025, The Academy is grateful to once again be recognized by the South Bend community in 2026.

For the team at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu South Bend, this award represents much more than a title. It is a reflection of the incredible community that has been built on the mats and the dedication of the students, families, instructors, and supporters who make the academy what it is.

At Gracie Jiu-Jitsu South Bend, the belief is simple: Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone. Whether someone is looking to learn practical self-defense, improve their fitness, build confidence, find a supportive community, or simply try something new, there is a place for them at the academy.

With programs designed for a wide range of ages and experience levels, including Gracie Combatives, Women Empowered, Gracie Bullyproof, and Master Cycle, the academy welcomes students from age 3 through adults. No previous martial arts experience is required, and beginners can start at any time.

To receive this award for the third year in a row is something we do not take for granted. This recognition belongs to our entire academy family. Every student who walks through our doors, every family who supports them, and every person who has trusted us to be part of their journey has helped make this possible.

The academy’s mission extends beyond teaching Jiu-Jitsu. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu South Bend strives to create an environment where people can learn, grow, become more confident, and build meaningful relationships while developing skills that can benefit them both on and off the mats.
